Trying to break the cycle. Me today.
Sometimes I believe I’m god. Or other days I’m like a withering sunflower seed drying. I hate the fucking bells that toll outside. It’s too loud. And I’m seeing lights in people. Crowds buffer by, their faces are shameful. I see the abstraction. I am the antithesis and receiver. Time is running out, you know when the horses start pacing figure eights. Sometimes I hear the world grinding underneath my feet. It resonates. I keep flipping a piece of chalk over. Sometimes I write names on the kitchen wall in blood from dead fish I bought at the Chinese market. I like copper pots and writing numbers on my forehead.
