I see that no one is around
I look down and see your face in the ground

and there’s a face in the stars
a face with two eyes and a nose
a face with no mouth and no voice
another nothing face in a crowd

I would give a lot more than this
to touch your face and kiss your lips

its such an unfamiliar feeling
when everything is so plain
how can things change
and all the people stay the same

no passion and no more faith
nothing permanent in creating grace
